Curtin have a commitment to provide cutting edge technology available to its students and staff. They were the first University in Australia to deploy Microsoft Surface across its campus and are building teaching, learning, research and corporate projects around Surface computing, and the new wave of User Experience design and development associated with it. The Interactive Computing Lab at ENAC – lii-enac.fr
LII is a laboratory of ENAC specialised in human-computer interaction (HCI) and its computing aspects. Created in late 2006, it is currently composed of three permanent staff and two PhD students. The teachers at LII are mainly involved in the Master’s degree in HCI that is delivered by ENAC and University of Toulouse. IntuiLab has regular R&D collaborations with the Lab as described here, including around multitouch devices and interactions.
